Meet our Executive Leadership
David is CEO and Co-Founder of InvestorCOM and was President of recently acquired Distributech, a document outsourcing company that he founded in 1992 to provide transactional and compliance communications, e-commerce fulfillment, and direct marketing to leading North American organizations. From 1984 – 1992, David held a variety of marketing management roles at IBM Canada Ltd. In addition to managing IBM’s relationship with CIBC, David led the development of IBM’s outsourcing agreements with several major financial service clients. His expertise is in developing high-performance outsourcing relationships with leading financial services companies. David graduated from Western University with a BA in Economics and serves on the boards of Pathways to Education and Outward Bound Canada.
Anthony A. Boright
Anthony has more than 25 years of marketing and sales experience in the technology, financial services and consumer packaged goods industries. Prior to co-founding InvestorCOM, Anthony founded VAULT Solutions in 2003 to provide custom web solutions to the financial services industry. Before VAULT, he was V.P. Marketing and Sales for Communicopia, a leading developer of Internet solutions for the wealth management industry and creator of two successful products: The Fund Library – “Canada’s online mutual fund resource centre” and f/A Connect – “The Internet workplace for financial advisors”. Previously, Anthony held institutional and retail sales roles on Morgan Stanley’s and CIBC Wood Gundy’s fixed income trading desks. Anthony has an MBA in Finance from York University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Western University.
Senior VP, Operations
Jim has over 20 years of experience in financial services outsourcing, most recently as a client experience leader for information delivery support solutions at CIBC Mellon. Past engagements include enterprise account management for business process outsourcing services at Resolve Corporation. Earlier in his career, Jim worked in a variety of management roles at Broadridge Investor Communications. Jim has a background in quality management and process improvement from his days working as an engineer. Jim earned his MBA at McMaster University.
Director of Human Resources
Sarah has over 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience in the Financial Services and Construction industries. She has held a number of HR leadership positions with Knowledge First Financial and Ira McDonald Construction. Sarah’s experience leading all aspects of Human Resources enables her to act as a strategic and resourceful HR business partner. She joined InvestorCOM in August 2016 to lead the HR function and is responsible for overseeing our human capital programs, as well as, engaging the leadership team on key people metrics. Sarah has an undergraduate Political Science degree from Brock University, and a Human Resources Management post graduate diploma from Sheridan College. She has held her Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHP) designation in good standing since 2007 and received her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation in 2014.
Vice President, Product & Innovation
Dave Hook has been in the document production industry for more than 30 years, and has held a broad range of management positions in organizations such as Xerox Canada Ltd., Symcor Inc., and Davis + Henderson. He has led the introduction of many products such as check image statements, electronic statement archives, statement composition services, Braille and Large Print services, statement marketing (transpromo), and many others. Through these initiatives and his work on ISO committees, Dave has gained a broad range of experience within the document production industry both as a vendor and as a services provider to the banking, telecommunications, retail and other industries.
As Vice President, Product and Innovation, Dave is responsible for directing and developing the company’s portfolio of products and solutions. Dave’s broad industry experience gives him a great orientation to incorporate the “Voice of the Customer” into our product suite. In his role at InvestorCOM Dave works with customers, development, project management, operations, and sales to bring to market and enhance products and services that are innovative, industry leading and that provide strong value to our customers.
Vice President, Technology
Randy has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology sector with a focus on IT infrastructure and operations. His background includes senior IT management roles with Loblaw Companies Ltd., Meridian Credit Union, MCAP and Cap Gemini. Over the 20 years Randy has participated in a number of challenging projects and company transformations. Projects have involved complete data centre technology up-lifts and high risk data centre migrations to third party outsourcing companies. For a number of years during his consulting roles Randy was able to develop his strategic planning and analysis skills, allowing him to think ‘big picture’ and put the plans in place to execute successful programs. In his role at InvestorCOM, Randy works with our team of IT professionals providing production support to our outsourcing clients and developing the suite of InvestorCOM solutions.
Chief Financial Officer
Lois has over 25 years of financial leadership experience and joined InvestorCOM in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer. Previously she held the role of CFO of blueRover Inc., a technology company focused on commercial internet-of-things applications and prior to that she was CFO of Communitech Corporation, an industry-led innovation center that supports, fosters and enables technology companies in the Region of Waterloo. Her career also includes 15 years in senior financial roles in food manufacturing, having served as Chief Financial Officer of Humpty Dumpty Snack Foods Inc. and also Vice-President Finance at Dare Foods, a multi-plant privately-held company that manufactured and distributed its products across North America and internationally. Lois obtained her Chartered Accountant designation at KPMG and she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she earned the Alumni Gold Medal. She sits on the Board of Directors and has been Treasurer for the Kitchener- Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, Shad International, and International Women’s Forum (Kitchener Chapter).
