At our recent client conference, one of the sessions was on the strategic value of blockchain.  We are exploring the application of blockchain with several client applications and in doing so, the same question comes up – what is the strategic value?  This article by McKinsey does a great job of positioning its value within Financial Services and other industries – worth the read, I think!
