Great Example of E-migration Incentive

Guelph Hydro has used some interesting incentives to drive their e-migration strategy.  Much industry attention has focused on billers that contemplate charging their clients for paper invoices…which has not surprisingly resulted in negative customer feedback.  Guelph Hydro is incenting conversion by offering a $10 credit which makes a ton of sense – having their clients share in the cost reduction associated with e-migration!  We estimate the annual cost of monthly hydro billing to be in the range of $25-$30 per client and providing a $10 credit for conversion has exceptional ROI….less than 6 months!
