For the second year InvestorCOM has been recognized as one of the nation’s best workplaces.

Toronto, ON, June 5, 2020 – InvestorCOM, the leading provider of regulatory compliance software and communications solutions for the financial services industry, today announced the company has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Small and Medium Employers (SMEs) for 2020. InvestorCOM was awarded this recognition previously in 2018.

Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers is an editorial competition that recognizes the nation’s best workplaces and forward-thinking human resources policies. The annual competition is run by Mediacorp Canada Inc., the same group behind Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.

The top 100 editors evaluate and grade employers using eight criteria: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.  The judges follow the SME definition used by Statistics Canada, limiting the competition to private-sector companies with under 500 employees.

The judges offered several reasons for re-selecting InvestorCOM. This includes:

• Giving all employees three weeks paid vacation up to a maximum of five and considering previous work experience when setting individual vacation entitlement.
• Supporting new moms and dads with maternity and parental leave top-up payments, to 70 per cent of salary for 17 weeks.
• Helping employees keep their skills up to date through in-house training initiatives, as well as tuition subsidies for courses at outside academic institutions.
